No person is illegal!
Many German Jews were forced to emigrate in the following years when the Nazis called for a boycott of Jewish businesses in 1933. This second phase of Nazi madness began with the planned expulsion and extermination of all "non-Aryans" in Europe. Finally, the Nazis, in their delusions of omnipotence, covered the world with a merciless war of aggression with millions of deaths and refugees. No other country brought as much suffering and refugee misery to the world in the 20th century as Germany!
This is why Germany still has a special responsibility today to protect the persecuted and refugees. In view of demographic change, it will be very important for Germany to remain open to people from all over the world in the future, regardless of the right to asylum. Many people with a migration background live in Stuttgart-Heslach in particular, who have built a new future here with work and family and have found a new home. A European immigration law with the possibility for all refugees to enter the countries legally under transparent conditions is what we so urgently need politically. Only then can we put a stop to the inhumane gangs of people smugglers. All children and young people must be given rapid access to the German language and education. Rapid access to the German language and education must be made possible for all children and young people. This is the only way to break down existing patriarchal and religious fundamentalist thought structures in refugee families. Values such as social justice, equal rights for women and men, participation in economic prosperity, freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom of assembly are the necessary basis for living together with refugees and migrants. As the economically strongest country in Europe, Germany and Stuttgart will benefit enormously from the many young people who have been forced to emigrate for a variety of reasons. No one leaves their home country voluntarily.
The climate crisis is already causing global refugee movements and will do so to an even greater extent in the future, so this issue, which affects everyone, should be considered objectively and soberly, beyond populist agitation. Here are the links:
