Waldfriedhof

A place of reflection

Its old trees are a reminder that the Waldfriedhof was established in 1914 in the middle of the mixed forest above the Nesenbach valley. Nowadays it is more reminiscent of a park. Many well-known personalities are buried here, such as Theodor Heuss, the manufacturer Robert Bosch, the architect Paul Bonatz, the former mayor Arnulf Klett, the painters Oskar Schlemmer and Adolf Hölzel and many more. Along countless romantic paths, biographies become history. This place invites you to pause and reflect - increasingly important in the midst of today's hustle and bustle!
